So, What about Tommy Robinson?
Tommy Robinson is an English activist and journalist who has been reporting on Islamist “rape gangs” in England. On May 25, 2018 he was arrested for a breach of the peace while live streaming outside Leeds Crown Court where several alleged members of a rape gang, who had already been convicted, were going to be sentenced. Tommy was arrested, charged, tried, convicted and sentenced to thirteen months in prison, all in less than five hours. This is incredible and unheard of in pretty much any Western court system.
The court tried to justify Tommy’s arrest saying that he violated a reporting restriction on the rape gang case, and that he was in contempt of court due to a suspended sentence for a similar charge from a few months earlier. Yet, Robinson had only repeated what another UK newspaper had already printed, and was carefully choosing his words in an attempt to not violate his suspended sentence. Clearly, this was an excuse for silencing Tommy as he has been a very outspoken critic of Islam and unrestricted Muslim immigration.
This is not the first time Tommy has been arrested. His activism over the years has seen many “brushes” with the law, and he has served a few prison sentences. And, because of his stance on the Islamic extremists, he’s been labeled “far right” by most media outlets, and many on the political left like to call him Nazi, Fascist and/or racist or whatever other hateful label they use on people they don’t agree with. None of these labels, in my opinion, are deserved as he has made it a point to distance himself from those kinds of groups.
Tommy joined the British National Party in 2004, but left it as soon as he found out they actually were racist and wouldn’t let non-whites join.
In 2009 Tommy helped form the English Defense League (EDL). This was, at least in part, in response to an extreme British Islamist group holding an anti-British Army demonstration protesting a homecoming parade by British soldiers returning from Afghanistan. In 2011 he was convicted of assaulting a fellow EDL member resulting from a confrontation with an actual neo-Nazi who had joined the group. In 2013 he left the group stating that the racism and neo-Nazi influence had gotten out of control.
Tommy’s focus has been against the radical extreme Islamist groups in Britain, and he consistently makes a very clear distinction between them and the “every day Muslims who just want to live in peace”, who he says he has no problem with. In fact, he even works with at least one moderate Muslim group that is also trying to counter the influence of the extremists.
These extreme Islamic groups are where most of the rape gangs, or “grooming gangs” as they have been termed, seem to come from. Apparently in some Islamic factions it is perfectly acceptable, and perhaps even desirable, to take non-Muslim females as sex slaves. And, apparently, the potential victims can be any age as long as they’ve gone through puberty.
Over the course of many years there have been something like 1400 women and girls, some as young as 11 years old, victimized by these mostly Islamic rape gangs, and the authorities have turned a blind eye to it and, in fact, in some cases they have even gone so far as to punish the victim. This is ostensibly due to “political correctness” and the fear of being labeled racist or Islamophobic or something. It has only been quite recently that the British government has started prosecuting these gangs, and it has been primarily due to Tommy Robinson and people like him raising awareness of the situation.
There is a 2 hour documentary about the whole scandal on YouTube. Details of some of the rape gang cases are discussed in it, as well more of Tommy Robinson’s story. I highly recommend people watch it to get the whole story.
Tommy has also written two books, for those interested in a little more insight into who Tommy Robinson is: his autobiography; Tommy Robinson Enemy of the State, and a book about his understanding of the Koran; Mohammed’s Koran: Why Muslims Kill For Islam.
I personally don’t see how any sane person can be hating on Tommy for this and defending those horrible people for doing what they’ve done to those young girls.
Thanks for checking out my post. I look forward to your feedback.
