So the US is pulling out of Syria, eh?

President Trump announced today that the US military would be pulling out of Syria over the next month. This is a very good thing as far as I’m concerned, and it’s about damned time. I still absolutely do not think he should be President, and I think it’s completely ridiculous that he is. But, if he can do this, kudos to him! This was one of the main things he ran his campaign on to get elected, and I’m pretty sure it’s one of the main reasons people voted for him. Now, he needs to follow up by also pulling out of Afghanistan and Iraq, and Somalia, and anywhere else they are bombing or otherwise conducting illegal military operations.

I really hope he can pull it off. However, much like last time he announced they were pulling out, “ISIS” or Assad or some other “terrorist” is probably going to be accused of doing something horrible like a gas attack or something to make sure they don’t leave.

I find it really amazing how many people are completely losing their minds over this, too. It seems like most people in the US media, as well as many public officials are completely invested in staying in this pointless and illegal “war” forever. It makes me sad for our society.
