About me.
So, who am I and why am I so madly pondering?
In the Grand Scheme of things, I’m basically nobody. …and anybody.
I know, that sound a little vague and perhaps a little self deprecating, but I basically mean that I am just an average guy. I was born in the 1960’s and grew up in the 70’s and 80’s in the US Pacific Northwest. I guess that qualifies me to be a member of Generation X.
Through most of my life I had a fairly typical working class American lifestyle. I did a tour in the Navy, fortunately during a time when there were no real conflicts going on. I’ve been married, and divorced, twice and had kids, and I usually had a job that made enough money so that we had food and a place to live, but not enough to “get ahead” of anything. I generally didn’t pay any attention to politics or anything going on anywhere else in the world. Those things didn’t really seem to effect us at this level.
Over the last few years I’ve been becoming more and more aware of the world around me, and how many of the things I never paid much attention to before really do effect us, and it’s pretty messed up.
That’s why I decided to start this blog, to add my 2¢ to the conversation.
Thanks for checking it out, and I look forward to your feedback.
Cheers! 🙂
